Carved oak panels and a beautiful mantel that dates back to the 17th century are accented by a custom painted relief that shows four California landscapes of Napa Valley vineyard, Felt Lake in Portola Valley, Half Moon Bay and the Hills of Ukiah. The molded plaster ceiling was designed by Czech artist Bhatbajar Gonzarev and hand carved by Jan Beran. Large dooays open up to 3 separate balconies on each side of the room. This space lends itself perfectly for day-to-day family living watching sports with friends, creating indoor outdoor live play area overlooking the resort quality pool or cozying up by the fireplace.
